The Fallen Linemen Organization is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to memorialize fallen electrical line workers, and care for the families who have lost or are impacted by a severe injury of a loved one in the line of duty. We also aim to consolidate accident and injury information to share openly for a safer work environment. FLO is inspired by the lack of recognition that the electrical line industry has received over the years. Line workers have always been first responders, but have never been adequately recognized nationally for their efforts. We hope to accomplish national recognition for line workers, assure that no fallen or severely injured family is left behind, and all fallen are properly honored.
We currently have a traveling memorial that we take to different events such as trade shows, speaking engagements, and lineman rodeos. We appreciate any opportunity to speak to a company about who we are and what we are trying to accomplish. This year alone, we have donated almost $38,000 to families of fallen or severely injured lineman. Last year, we donated over $40,000 to families. We have volunteers spread out throughout the country that support FLO in numerous aspects such as, spreading the word about who we are, talking to families that have lost a loved one, speaking to companies on our behalf, fundraising, attending events, etc. These volunteers are crucial to our existence and continued growth. Our home office is in Madisonville, LA, but we are a nationwide non-profit.
